The Puerta del Sol Studio offers accommodation in the famous square Puerta del Sol in Madrid, in the centre of the capital, only 15 minutes walking from important museums, such as the Prado, Reina Sofia and the Thyssen- Bornemisza.
Housing up to 4 people, the apartment has a double sofa bed and two individual beds . The fitted kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and washing machine.The bathroom is equiped with shower. This is small yet very cosy accommodation with all of the comforts you could wish for. The apartment also has a TV, DVD and ADSL Internet connection for guests’ use as well as heating and air conditioning. 
Plaza Mayor and old Madrid; a place to shop in department and smaller stores and on 31st December, the New Year is brought in to the chimes of the Puerta del Sol clock.

From the Puerta del Sol you can easily walk to Plaza Mayor; walk up calle Arenal to Opera and the Royal Palace; walk up calle Alcalá to the Spanish Parliament or walk to Plaza Santa Ana.

The one street you shouldn't miss on your trip to Madrid is the Gran Via, a showcase of early 20th century architecture. The lively street is one of the city's most important shopping areas. It also contains a large number of hotels and large movie theaters. But what makes this street so special it the architectural design of many of the large buildings. While walking through this crowded street make sure you look up once in a while and admire the often lavishly decorated grand 'edificios'.
