When we arrived the appartement which we booked wasn't available yet, but we got another apartment for one night. It wasn't as nice as the one we booked but fair enough. The appartment was really cosy, clean and everything you could think of was there (cooking equipment, internet, washing machine etc.). The location was perfect, in between gran via and chueca. Just up the street were all kinds of cool bars and restaurants. Because it was not located in the middle of chueca the noise of people going out was bearable. There are some prostitutes in the street who are standing here day and night but this didn't bother us at all. It's not a dangerous street, we felt very safe and it is only 50 meters away form gran via metro, the commercial centre. The only thing which did bother us was the neighbours doorbell ringing constantly during the evening. So buy earplugs and then this apartment is a very nice place to stay. Very good value for money.
